here is a recent job posting at my place of employment ... i meet about 95% of the minimum requirements .... Project Leader Monday – Friday 8a-5p Broad Scope and Purpose of the Position: This position supervises a group of employees engaged in developing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, maintaining and installing CaseView, transmission system (XMIT) and several key imaging systems (EIS). This position will be responsible duties including but not limited to the management of the development teams priorities, managing the development lifecycle process and communication of those processes and priorities to the appropriate parties. Minimum Requirements:
  • BA or BS in business, computer science or scientific related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Three years in business, computer science or scientific related field
  • Technical: Microsoft development tools: VB, C++, ASP and SQL programming experience
  • Professional:
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, set priorities
    • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills; will interact with users at all levels
    • Good oral and written communication skills, both technical and non-technical information
    • Ability to work effectively in a team setting
    • Proven business analysis skills, detail oriented
Minimum Preferred Requirements:
  • MA or MS in business or scientific related field, or scientific related field
  • Five or more years in business, computer science or scientific related field
  • Technical: Database environments including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle
  • Professional:
    • Substantial knowledge of risk assessment, health care and workplace drug testing industries
    • Polished presentation skills
